The game boasts an eclectic soundtrack composed of mostly rap and RnB, but there are also some calm jazz tunes, Ancient Japan-inspired music, and a mix of tracks from other countries the fights take place in. When it comes to World Tour, the graphics still look decent even though they’re not as high fidelity as the fighting backgrounds and such. Also, the World Tour’s stab at a ‘Fighting Game RPG’ is a respectable effort. The controls are smooth, and you can pick between the newer ‘Modern’ control scheme or the ‘Classic’ control scheme. The main differences found in 3rd Strike include: a new way of performing throws (done by pressing LP+LK), universal overheads (MP+MK), a "choose your opponent" approach to Arcade mode, the return of the "Crush the Car" bonus round, a new soundtrack, new stages and 5 new characters: Chun-Li, Q, Twelve, Remy and Makoto.
